Groundwater Quality Protection and Economic Development Project.

The threat of contamination of the groundwater supplies in the Coachella Valley region continues to grow as septic tanks remain in service and failure of those systems increases. The Regional Water Quality Control Board has declared that contamination of the groundwater resources is an issue of regional concern and protection of our groundwater a PRIORITY and a matter of regional significance.

We need the Desert Water Agency to step up all efforts to respect our water supply. Other desert cities have been utilizing "green and sustainable" practices for decades. It seems we are behind the times.
